Student Member wins SRPE Conference Scholarship
Andrea Roost from Midwestern State University was awarded the 2026 SRPE Conference Scholarship, which facilitated her attendance at the 2026 SRPE Annual Education Conference in Las Vegas, NV, April 8-11, 2026. Andrea joins the 2025 SRPE scholarship recipients, Isabel Flores from Loma Linda University and Andrew Ogden from the University of North Carolina—Chapel Hill. David M. Clark Memorial Scholarship
The SRPE invites current Radiologist Assistant students to apply for the David M. Clark Memorial Scholarship. Qualifications: -Applicant must be a single-parent student currently enrolled in a Radiologist Assistant Program. -Submit a 1000-word essay describing your journey through radiology and your decision to become a Radiologist Assistant. - Must submit a letter of good standing from the Radiologist Assistant Program Director. RA Bills Introduced in Georgia and California
House Bill 571, the Radiologist Assistant Act, was introduced in the Georgia General Assembly on February 24th. This Bill will provide RA licensure, set an advisory board, and determine rules under the Georgia Composite Medical Board for the RA certified by the ARRT or the CBRPA. Assemblyman Chen introduced AB 511 in California. This Bill defines the RA as an ARRT or CBRPA-certified technologist and describes their role in health care in California's Health and Safety Code.
